Project Overview
Part of the Zanzibar Improvement of Students Performance (ZISP) initiative, this project involved the simultaneous construction of four modern secondary schools across remote areas of Pemba Island.
KAICON provided a comprehensive end-to-end solution, uniquely combining our maritime logistics expertise with our construction execution capabilities.
The Challenge
Island logistics presented massive hurdles. Sourcing, shipping, and offloading heavy construction materials to remote sites with limited port infrastructure required complex supply chain orchestration.
KAICON's Solution & Impact
KAICON chartered dedicated landing crafts and established temporary aggregation yards on Pemba. By vertically integrating the supply chain and construction teams, we completely eliminated material stock-outs, delivering all four schools concurrently to the Ministry.
