Project Overview
KAICON was contracted by the National Identification Authority (NIDA) to construct and fit-out three primary data centers in key administrative regions across Tanzania. These facilities are critical nodes in the national digital identity infrastructure.
The project demanded high-security clearance, precision engineering for advanced cooling systems, and the installation of redundant power networks to ensure 99.99% uptime.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was executing heavy structural modifications in live government zones without disrupting ongoing administrative operations, coupled with aggressive delivery timelines dictated by national policy rollouts.
KAICON's Solution & Impact
We deployed concurrent engineering teams across all three regions, utilizing pre-fabricated modular structural components to reduce on-site construction time by 30%. All three data centers were commissioned two weeks ahead of the national deadline, fully compliant with Tier 3 data center structural standards.
